The best ideas always come during a whisky drinking session and there was no exception here.
Over drinks with a prominent Melbourne restaurateur, the idea came about when they told me a story about a VIP diner who had asked to have a rare bottle of whisky for his upcoming table. The panic and scattering to find the right bottles on such short notice was a real difficult task, as the restaurant only has a standard whisky offering at their bar.
"If you could have given me a list of available whisky and arranged same day delivery to me, that would have saved me a whole lot of time and effort."
